November 2009: The study of Islam in Keith's social studies classes, students were given the opportunity to choose an aspect of Islamic culture to study further. Popular topics included: animals, art, warfare, entertainment, and sports. After the research period, each student chose how to present what they learned to their groups. They came up with a variety of creative products to support their presentations including: culinary dishes, power points, models, and other visual displays.
