River School has a feature on our River School website – The Aeries Parent Portal.  This feature allows parents/guardians to view your child’s attendance, grades, class assignments, transcripts and other personal information. 

Here is how it works: as part of this letter, you have been given  your student’s Login and Password (see label below) that will provide access to their information from the Aeries Parent Portal. This is a secure, read-only website that provides information for each student.

Follow these steps to access your student’s information:

·         From the internet, go to the River School website:    www.riverschool.org

·         Click on the tab labeled River Parent Portal located in the upper right-hand corner of our River School home page.

·         The next screen provides Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and general information. Click the River Parent Portal link to enter the Parent Portal. 

·         What you will see next is the ‘Welcome to Aeries’ login box, pop up on your screen (see picture below)

·         Enter the student’s name (last name,first name) {NO space after the comma}

·         Enter your password (exactly as seen on the label)

·         Be sure that School is set to River School (use the down arrow on School to find River School)

·         Once you log on to the system you can follow the menu bar options at the top of the page to access your child’s current grades, attendance, transcripts, contact information, etc.

·         If you have questions regarding class assignments, a link to teachers’ email addresses can be found on the school home page (see about us, then see staff bios). 

We are excited about this feature and hope that you find it useful in keeping you informed about your child’s progress. If you do not have internet access at home, you can access the website at River School at River School between 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM and/or any other public place that offers internet access. Please contact the school to schedule your visit to use the computer.  We encourage you to explore this resource in order to help monitor your child’s progress.  Should you have a question, please contact your child’s advisor or Ms. Akiu at 253-6813.
