- Taught Before
- I started teaching at a small rural middle school in Mendocino County in 1993. There I taught math, science, art and history for 13 years. I moved to Napa in 2006 and taught in Rohnert Park for one year before landing my "dream" position at River School.
- What is important to you in education?
-
Personally I always want to keep learning new things and having new experiences. As an educator, I want to help young people explore who they are and the wonders of the world around them. I want to encourage my students to ask questions, search for answers and believe in themselves and their own abilities.
- What Defines the River School to you?
-
A caring community that nurtures exploration and growth.
