Personal Information: I grew up in Napa and I'm glad to be giving back to the amazing community by teaching here. I am married to Diane (the drama teacher) and we live in Petaluma with our awesome puppy. We love camping, cooking and hanging out with friends. I love listening to all kinds of music, taking cool photos and philosophizing on life.

What is important to you in education?: As we grow, we go through the process of finding our voice. Through education we learn to trust that voice. As we gain knowledge and experience, our voice becomes stronger. I believe singing is a living example of that metaphor. I think it's important to remember education is a life long process.
What defines the River School to you?: River School has great things to offer. What defines it, in my opinion, are the people. The people who work here, as well as the people who sit in the classrooms, strive to embody the qualities of support, creativity and expression.
